Bacchiacca

Bacchiacca's real name was Francesco d'Ubertino. In early sources it is claimed that he was taught by Perugino and by a friend of Andrea del Sarto.

His paintings 'Joseph receives his brothers' and 'Joseph pardons his brothers' are part of the set of panels made for Pier Francesco Borgherini, in collaboration with Pontormo. A number of Pontormo's panels are also in the Collection.
