Jan Provoost
living 1491; died 1529

Provoost was from Mons. By 1491 he had married the widow of
Simon Marmion
and in 1494 he settled in Bruges. A 'Last Judgement' in Bruges of 1524-6 is his most securely documented work. In French he is called Prévost.
