This course will explore ways in which the National Gallery Collection can be used as a stimulus for developing thinking and learning around different beliefs, traditions, themes and meanings. 

Provisional programme:
10.30 -11am  Registration and coffee
11.00 - 11.15am Welcome and Introduction to the National Gallery Collection
  Colin Wiggins, Head of Education
11.15 -11.30am Out of Art into Learning
  Ali Mawle, Head of Schools and Schools Officer
11.30am - 12.15pm Layers of Meaning
  One Painting, Three Interpretations
12.15 -1pm Tours of the Gallery
1-2pm Lunch (provided) and an opportunity to view exhibitions
2- 2.30pm Teacher Presentation
2.30-3.30pm Themed tours of the Gallery
3.30-4pm Panel Discussion
3.30-4pm

A sandwich lunch and light refreshments will be provided.
