A Still Life with Fruit, Dead Game and a Parrot

The parrot is a Grey Parrot; the dead game consists of a hare and a brace of partridges, beside which is a jay.

This painting is reminiscent of the works of Fyt of the late 1640s, but the handling of paint is rather coarse and so an element of doubt about the attribution remains.
