Meditation on the sacred, martyrdom and death is prevalent in The Sacred Made Real. From around the world, the films in this season reflect upon elements of religious belief and dedication, looking at the conflicts that arise from politics and communities, the internal anguish aroused by sexuality, and betrayal by those most trusted.
A short film will be shown before each feature – discover rarely seen classics and new work in film animation.
