Amancio Prada is a Spanish composer and songwriter. His music draws on Galician folk music and his songs use texts by poets such as, Augustine Garcia Calvo and Frederico Garcia Lorca.

He has performed across the world from Cairo to Lisbon, from Mexico to Manchester and his Cántico Espiritual of St John of the Cross, combining voice, cello and violin is justly famous.
