About

As we continue our year-long Bicentenary celebrations, art historian Sarah Ciacci hosts several walking tours focusing on celebratory motifs found within some of our paintings.

The tour will embrace 'moments of joy' while also discovering significant paintings that have been brought into the collection over the last 200 years. Expect paintings of concerts and music making, celebratory meals, processions, merrymaking and veneration.

Each tour will be different, one in September celebrates 10 years of National Gallery Membership.

The tour will move through the Gallery. Headsets will be provided for this tour.
