About

Access ‘Van Gogh: Poets and Lovers’ from afar. See beloved paintings from across the world, as if you were in the exhibition yourself.

Van Gogh’s time in the south of France stimulated his practice. In Arles and Saint-Rémy, Van Gogh created many works that we know and love today, from the dreamy ‘Starry Night over the Rhône’ to his iconic ‘Sunflowers’ series.

Exhibition curator Christopher Riopelle and curatorial fellow Sterre Overmars will be your after-hours tour guides to this once-in-a-century exhibition. See how Van Gogh embraced decorative paintings and painted many versions of the same scenes. Join Chris to get a closer look at several paintings, including Van Gogh's 'Self-Portrait, 1889' and 'Starry Night over the Rhône'.

Then, co-curator Cornelia Homburg joins us for a live Q&A.
