The poetry of the mark
About
What can we discover by taking a closer look at the way Van Gogh made his marks with paint?
Following on from the session in November, in this repeat workshop for those who didn't attend (or who would like to attend again) we will respond to some of the textures and patterns that he created with a brush and paint. At the same time, we will consider some of Van Gogh’s influences, such as Japanese prints, as we delve into surface texture, line, and shape.
