About

Join artist Amber Roper of The Blühen Studio for a colour-inspired, creative event offering the opportunity to delve into the world of fibre art.

Taking inspiration from one of Van Gogh landscapes, attendees will learn how to use yarn winding techniques to create tactile works of art. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or looking to try something new, this workshop is perfect for all skill levels.

The meeting point for this workshop is Annenberg Court. All materials are provided.

The Blühen Studio

Amber Roper (she/her) graduated from the prestigious Central Saint Martins with a first in textile design. The Blühen Studio was founded in 2017. The name pays homage to part of Amber’s mixed heritage of German, Jamaican & English. In German, it translates as ‘flourish’ and ‘blossom,’ which runs true within Amber’s approach to all of her artwork.

Artworks created by The Blühen Studio were discovered by Condé Nast and featured in the World of Interiors Magazine. Saatchi Art named Amber as one of 35 artists to watch in 2020.
