2B Or Not 2B Collective return to the Gallery with life drawing sessions inspired by our exhibition 'Siena: The Rise of Painting, 1300-1350'.
Artists including Duccio, Simone Martini and the brothers Ambrogio and Pietro Lorenzetti forged a new way of working, painting with a drama that no one has seen before. 2B Or Not 2B bring these paintings to life through the help of life models in these lively and informal creative sessions, conveying the emotions and stories told in this golden moment for art.
All materials are provided, and all levels are welcome.
2b Or Not 2b Collective
2B Or Not 2B Collective is a People of Colour (POC) run art group that focuses on uplifting and increasing the exposure of marginalised and underrepresented tutors and models within the art industry via welcoming creative workshops. They are based in London but also stream to an international audience, and have one of the largest drawing reference libraries of diverse life models. They have worked with numerous major institutions including the National Gallery, Tate Modern, Kew Gardens and the V&A.

You need to book a ticket to attend this event. Please book for only one session. Tickets will be available from 11am on Monday, 17 March 2025.
Tickets include entry to the National Gallery. The Roden Centre for Creative Learning and the Social Space can be accessed via Room 18 from the main galleries or via a dedicated entrance on Orange Street.
