About

Discover more about some of our paintings in the Gallery where children are encouraged and supported to ask questions and be curious. Be invited into our Art Studio to explore a visual art element and artist technique.

These sessions are a space for children to connect with art through materials and focus opportunity which are open-ended and flexible. Skills are dropped in through the activities for children to build on as they choose.

The workshops are suitable for mixed ages 5-16 years

During sessions, children must be accompanied by a parent/carer.

After the session you are welcome to enjoy your packed lunch in the Social Space of the CCL.

Your Artist/Educator

Joanna Conybeare is an artist and Gallery Educator who has worked in Primary and Secondary schools in London and the south coast as a teacher and subject lead for Art and Design. In her own artistic practice, she uses clay, porcelain and terracotta to explore the figure, enjoying the immediacy of the material that enables her to ‘draw’ three-dimensionally.
