Members' creative workshop
About
Join Zoe Thompson of 'sweet-thang zine' to discover the parallels between zine culture and the history of the Impressionists. Learn more about the history of zines and make your own zine, developing a personal manifesto along the way.
In the 1860s, the Impressionists broke the mould with their Salon des Refusés. To this day, zines offer artists ways to share creative practices, buck traditions and create new worlds.
Get creative in this online Members’ workshop. For this session, you’ll need
- 1-3 pieces of coloured card A4 size (or just regular paper, but colour would be better)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Old magazine/newspaper scraps (optional)
- Pens/pencils/paint
This will be a 1.5-hour workshop. We look forward to getting creative with you.
