About

Join ethereal Earth-pop duo Berne for a free, drop-in lunchtime performance amongst Turner, Constable and Gainsborough, where they will be performing their thought-provoking repertoire, calling us all to reflect on the current state of human nature and the natural world.

Berne's new single 'Waves' has a strong connection to ‘The Lower Falls of the Labrofoss’ by Johan Christian Dahl, on display in Room 45. The lyrics explore the similarities between the power of bodies of water and the power in creating change.

Berne

Berne use music to talk about issues they care deeply about: the climate emergency and social justice, while instilling hope for the future.

Supported by the likes of EU DG Climate Action, TheWRD from The Ivors Academy, BBC Introducing, EARMILK, Headliner Magazine, and Sound City, Berne continue in their mission to inspire and urge people to bring about change in the world, to highlight that we are in charge of the future and that together we can make a real difference.
