Join emotive alt-pop singer, pianist & songwriter, Creature & Machine, for a free, drop-in lunchtime concert featuring her delicate yet powerful vocals and our majestic grand piano, set against a backdrop of dramatic 17th-century Italian paintings.

"For me it's a dream to get to play amongst these particular artworks", says Creature & Machine, "since the intense expressions of emotions in Italian painting of this period reflects the emotional intensity I seek to create through my song writing, though in a very different culture and time". 

Creature & Machine will be playing a selection of acoustic arrangements of her own material, including several new compositions written in response to Van Gogh: Poets and Lovers. She has recently been exploring the life of Van Gogh as inspiration for her song writing and will be premiering a song she has written using words and phrases taken from Van Gogh's letters.
