Mindfulness session
Enjoy a moment of mindfulness and take a longer look at Gainsborough’s iconic work
About
Drawing on themes from our exhibition, 'Discover Constable and the Hay Wain', this mindfulness session takes a landscape by Gainsborough as its focus. Be guided to notice shape, colour and light, and explore how mindful looking at a painting can encourage a sense of calm, restorative stillness or connectivity. Can we experience the wellbeing benefits of being in nature, while looking at art?
