NG200 Members' tour
About
To mark our Bicentenary year, Archivist Alan Crookham invites you into the Library and Research Centre where 200 years of stories, photographs, letters and history of how the Gallery came to be, are archived.
Through historical artefacts, prized possessions in their own right, learn about the history of the Gallery through momentous acquisitions, handwritten ransom notes, and beautifully illustrated drawings of the building's architecture.
Each deep dive session lasts for 1 hour for groups of 20 Members and offers a fascinating moment of reflection on our past 200 years.
The meeting point will be in Annenberg Court and from here, you will be escorted to the Library. You will be able to return to the wider Gallery celebrations after the sessions.
