Women in focus
Join Gallery Educator Fiona Alderton for an exploration of the women – both as subjects and as artists – within the collection
About
To mark Women's History Month, Gallery Educator Fiona Alderton leads an evening tour exploring paintings created by, and representing, women throughout the collection. Commencing in the newly rehung Room 41, featuring works by Eva Gonzalès and Berthe Morisot, Fiona guides you through a varied selection of seminal works throughout art history which look at the contribution of women both from the perspectives of artist and subject.
This is a walking tour where various paintings will be explored in different rooms.
