The lore of the land
About
Join artist Ben Edge as he takes you on a tour of some of the most significant pieces from the Gallery's collection that have inspired his practice.
Known for his symbolic and often romantic paintings that are steeped in the folklore and mythology of the British landscape, his journey into the collection acts as a great companion tour to the 'Discover Constable & The Hay Wain' exhibition, which closes a couple of days later (2 February).
Ben Edge will also reference his recently published book, 'Folklore Rising, an artists journey through the British ritual year' (October 2024).
Headsets will be provided for this tour.
