Photograph of a watercolour by Henry Edward Tidmarsh wash and bodycolour. 155 x 218 mm. Guildhall Library W2/TRA 98272. The following pictures are identifiable in Room XVIII: bottom left, Murillo (NG74); top right, Zurbaran (NG230); far right Velasquez (NG1148), presented in 1883. In the centre of the dome is John Gibson's 'Hylas and the Water Nymphs' (NG1746, Tate N01746). There is no information as to when it was placed there or when it was removed.
