Letter from Mortimer Collier to Charles Eastlake asking for the history of paintings in the Gallery by Henry Morland, The Lady Washing and The Lady Ironing [Both pictures have been subsequently transferred to the Tate]. Subsequent letters thank Eastlake for providing information and asks for the dates of the paintings.
Also includes a letter from William McKay to Charles Eastlake explaining the two paintings previously belongs to Colonel F Talbot.
