Letter from E. Vanzetti to the Director regarding two Old Italian master paintings he has been commissioned to sell. These are a Madonna and Child by Botticelli, and The Fornorina (sometimes called Dorotea) by Raphael. The Raphael was declined, but EJP annotated that he would like to see the Botticelli when he visited Italy, although the price made it impossible for him to entertain the offer.
