Description
Thanking Baslini for a photograph of Savoldo's 'Mary Magdalene' and comparing it with another painting by Savoldo in Berlin. Burton thinks that Savoldo's 'Mary Magdalene' is not a replica of the Berlin work because of the differences between them. Burton will not have any news until the 26 Nov, when there will be a meeting of his colleagues and Trustees in the Gallery.
