Description
Relating to the purchase of an oil painting attributed to Gian Girolamo Savoldo from Signor Giuseppe Baslini in Milan. It shows a young woman, half-length, wrapped in a white mantle, turning towards the spectator. This painting from Signor Baslini was formerly part of the collection of Count Fenaroli di Brescia, where it was considered as a Titian and known as "La Zingara" [the Gipsy woman].
