Description
Fairfax Murray describes what appears to be a first meeting in Siena with a Mr Whisley to whom he gives advice on a collection of paintings. Burton had recommended him. The paintings mentioned are with regard to Raphael and Guido and one of the school of Sodoma which Murray thought could be a copy.
