Description
Fairfax Murray refers to his health and that he has recovered from a touch of rheumatic fever. He does not know how many replicas of the Botticelli composition there is. He thinks Ruskin will like the Vivarini but will not send it until it is in perfect order. He writes in length about the Sienese collection. The Hals drawing is also mentioned and Murray offers Burton a refund if he has any doubt of its originality.
