Description
Fairfax Murray gives several reasons why he thinks it would not be possible to purchase the Lorenzetti. He enquires about whether it has been possible to do anything with the "predella piece" by Pietro and indicates he would like to do some restoration on it himself. He mentions his intention of viewing a Piero della Francesca on his way to Venice.
