Re her letter of 25 Mar 1867 offering for sale pictures purchased by her late husband Sir Charles Eastlake during his directorship at their purchase price. The Trustees wish to purchase ten pictures [details of artists, title of works and prices supplied in body of letter]. The Trustees request valuations of the works Eastlake acquired before his directorship in addition to his Library, before a decision can be made with regard to their acquisition
