Description
The 300 sketches exhibited in the Turner room display every variety of work from slight pencil sketches up to highly finished watercolour drawings. Students of Turner would therefore learn nothing more from the rough sketches that the correspondent has asked to see, and as the sketches are kept sealed in boxes at present there is no convenient way in which they might be viewed.
