Requesting him to inform the Lords Commissioners of H.M. Treasury that in accordance with the terms of the National Galley Loan Act of 1883, a certain number of pictures have been selected for loan to provincial galleries, after satisfactory answers regarding the security of the buildings. Also enquires whether the pictures being lent need to be insured and adding that the various institutions have agreed to repay the cost of packing, transmitting and insuring the pictures on loan.
