Informing them that it is necessary to protect the pictures with glass. This works has been gradually started over the last two years, but the estimated £1400 stated in the Estimate is needed to complete the work which will be more cost effective in the long run. In regards the Wheeler bequest he accepts the Lord Commissioners sum for the purchase of pictures for the collection.
