Description
Explaining that the National Portrait Gallery is an important institution under government control and its chairman, Lord Hardinge is a Trustee of the National Gallery. Several portraits of the British School were transferred to the NPG and that is why is was suggested he offer the portrait he mentioned to the NPG also.
