Description
Hopes that the pictures sent the previous month have arrived safely and requests the return of any that are unwanted. Announces that in March 1829 he will take receipt of one of the finest collections in the country, containing pictures by Caracce, Raphael, Murillo, Albano and Guido, along with pictures of the Flemish and Dutch schools. Mentions a picture by Guercino in 'the most perfect preservation'.
