Description
During his retirement Cecil Gould decided to embark upon writing his memoirs. He paid particular attention to his adolescent recollections as his diaries for this area were particularly rich, and he believed that they reflected an important time in British history. More specific accounts were also written such as his memoir of Anthony Blunt and 'Recollections of the National Gallery'. It appears that many drafts were dispatched to Michael Levey for proof reading.
This series contains loose or bound, handwritten or printed pages containing drafts and finished copies of material for publication.
