Copy record of letter from Thomas Agnew & Sons to Frederick Hawksworth Fawkes of Farnley Hall, Otley, West Yorkshire, expressing concern that the Farnley Collection of paintings by J.M.W. Turner are to be exhibited in London by an unnamed firm, in contravention of an agreement with the Agnew's firm and apparently in order to secure a good price for the sale of a Romney work in Fawkes' possession.
