Description
This sub-series contains miscellaneous ledgers and indexes (1865-1982) some of which partially relate to ledgers within identified sub-series (for details refer to 'Ledgers' at NGA27/14). The ledgers contain indexed accounts of clients registered with Agnew's, and common transactions include the sale of works of art, framing, insurance, conveyancing, and rent payments. Each contains the following information for debits (on the left hand side of the page) and credits (right hand side):
- Date
- Description (e.g. Picture; Cash)
- Day Book volume and page number (or equivalent volume, e.g. Cash Book; these have not been retained by the archive).
- Amount

- Wherever possible, information about which other volumes a miscellaneous ledger links to have been included in the file description.
