Letter (22 Jul 1903) from E.E. Elphinston to Thos. Agnew & Sons, apologising for the possible ungraciousness of her letter of 15 Jul 1903 and stating that she is grateful for all the firm of Agnew's has done for her. She asks if she might have the name of the purchaser as she is wondering if it might be anyone her eldest son knows and in whose house he might see the picture, as he is unaware of the sale and she does not wish it to be made known to him.
