Description
Letter (undated, [c 1890-1910]) from Charlotte Ribblesdale to [Sir William] Agnew reproaching herself for the decision she has taken not to sell "our pictures" due to sentiment and stating "I had not quite realised what the extra income meant and how much in need we are of it." She asks Agnew if he will try to "persuade Mr Lister to buy the boy" and states that she will not part with "the girl and rather wish to keep one relic of the old family."
