Setting out the Prince of Wales's instructions regarding delivery of the 'Porte-Feuille with the Prints of the French great Men and Women', 'the Description of the Fifteenth Piece of Tapestry about the Nymphs', 'the Book with Prints of H.R.H.'s Collection', and a copy of a 'Book, or List of Pictures and Statues, or other Things, which were at Whitehall in King William's time' then in Vertue's possession.
There reference to the portfeuille relates to a note among the George Vertue Papers in the British Library, Add. MS 19,027, ff. 31-32: 'Mr. Schraders ... has order from H.R.H. to bring some prints to Mr. Vertue, one day next week, to put 'em in order, and to get them bound up together in a large portfeuille. They are Prints of Great Men & Women in France' (McGeary, p. 257).
