Description
Is glad that her correspondent is having a nice time in Italy, noting that she 'was glad to hear that you had found the "Five Great Painters" of some use in helping you to enjoy the delightful galleries. Florence is a thing by itself, I was once left alone there for 3 weeks & never enjoyed myself more - drawing every morn[in]g at the Uffizi'. She is unable to attend the Royal Academy exhibition, which opened last Friday.
