Regrets that she is unable to attend her conversatione on 13 May. Talks of her delight in being in Albury, Guildford, in the springtime, noting she has not yet done any sketching: 'The nightingales are vociferous. The blossoms enchanting - & the wallflowers & gorse scent the air. I am close to Albury Park Gate & tho' too lazy to draw myself am always seeing what wd be beautiful on paper'.
