Allegretto Nuzi

1316/20 - 1373/4
Allegretto di Nuzio was from Fabriano. He worked mainly in Florence, where he is recorded in 1346. He seems to have been influenced by paintings from Siena as well as by the work of Giotto.

A number of signed works survive, including a Maestà dated 1345 and a Virgin and Child (Galleria Nazionale, Urbino) dated 1372 .
