The Master of the View of St Gudula is named after a painting with a view of the façade of St Gudula, Brussels (now in the Louvre, Paris). He probably worked in Brussels. His style is influenced by that of Rogier van der Weyden. None of his pictures is dated, but the costumes show that his period of activity was about 1470-90.
