Informing him that there have been several offers of unpromising pictures, that Mr Nevill, an American clergyman, visited wishing to show him certain early Italian works and who he may meet in Venice, that two pictures by the Carracci need relining before being attended to, and that nothing of importance has occurred in his absence.
