Informing them that the Director has accepted some pictures offered to the Gallery by Sir John Gibson of Brighton, "Saviour" by J. Jackson and "Study of a Skull" and "Man's Portrait" attributed to Hogarth. The Director appreciated the kind donation but is unable to accept the other paintings offered to the Gallery.
