Description
A photocopy of a page containing the definition of "Swedenborg". The Swedenborg Society was established in 1810, is based in Bloomsbury, London, and follows the works of Swedish scientist, Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772) which were dedicated the interpretation of Christian scripture. Thomas Agnew senior was a member of the faith, and his sons William and Thomas were both educated at Rev. J.H. Smithson's Swedenborgian school in Salford.
