30 Oct 1855, regarding a tribute Ford is to write, at the suggestion of Mary Ford, on the recently deceased Sir William Molesworth [brother of Mary Ford] planned for publication in the Quarterly Review and 8 Nov 1855, requesting Ford suspends plans to write article mentioned in previous letter as the Quarterly Review would not publish such a piece due to the political beliefs of Sir William Molesworth.
Includes a fragment of frontispiece of 'The Works of Alexander Pope' by Rev. Whitwell Elwin; overleaf a printed engraving of Ralph Waldo Emerson.
