Description
- 30 Nov 1847: Eastlake offers ideas of how to improve a device for a frontispiece and recommends safety measures for working with a furnace. Encourages her in a new work project.
- 1 Oct 1848: Eastlake thanks her for her letter about a particular painting in the museum at Caen. He asks for information, as she has friends in Caen and has been there herself, how best to reach the city from Honfleur, what other paintings are in the museum's collection, what its opening times are, and whether her friends have bought home a catalogue, if one such exists.
